Looking for ancestors of Frank Cernohorsky?

Question

He was born in May of 1887 in Libusin, Bohemia Czechoslovakia died in Bradenton,Florida in 1963. he immigrated to U.S. in 1908 and lived in Nebraska until about 1918 eventualling moving to New York. Any help would be appreciated!!

The first web site below says Austria.

If you write to the City or Town for death records in Bradenton FL, they will send you a Birth Certificate.

If he came to US in 1908, you may find a ships manifest in that year showing anyone he was traveling with.

rustskipper didn't say so, but if his parents are worth $27, you can write to the SSA for a copy of his SSN application. Unless it was filled out by a friend or social worker while he was in a coma, it will have the name of his mother (maiden name) and his father. It takes about 6 weeks.
