I travel quite a bit for my job so I have no choice but to fly. However, if they ever impose a no carry-on at all rule or decide to not allow electronics, that is when I will tell my office I will either stop flying or they will need to ship my items to me using a luggage delivery carrier. There is no way I am going to pack my laptop, cell phone, GPS and digital camera in checked bags so they can get stolen or damaged. Also, I can't even imagine sitting through a boring flight and boring layovers if I am not allowed to have a book with me. So, for now, I will keep traveling but if the rules get stricter, that will be it for me.

No I have a trip booked for florida in november . I'll just buy a plastic see through purse to hold my id, my money, my passport and my medications and pack everything else in my checkedluggage.
We 've gotten spoiled where we think everything revolves around what we want and need as individuals. Time to start looking at what is good for the large group or the community.

The new restrictions will not keep me from flying, however I am a nervous flyer so that enough will keep me from flying too much:)

Nope. I never fly anyway.(Can you spell PHOBIA) But it wouldn't stop me if I did. I'd just adjust how I carried things, and what I would buy at my destination.
