By way of a bit of background information, I'm fifteen and have been taking Centrum Chewables on a near-daily basis for the past two years. While I haven't yet noted any changes for the worse as regards my health, I can't help but wonder whether I should cease this practice in light of a recent flux of articles/reports suggesting that children (in this case individuals under eighteen) would be better off abstaining from vitamins of any kind (with the exception of those formulated with children in mind). Under "suggested use", the bottle reads in part: "Not formulated for use in children 8 years and younger". This does little to assuage my disquiet. Is there any truth to said reports? Will my health be compromised if I continue to take these supplements? Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on the matter.
