What should I do. It was an accident. I was putting out some anti-freeze mixed with tuna fish to kill the opossums that have been getting into my trash and I noticed the neighbors dog eating it. I tried to stop the dog but I didn't want to scare the opossums away. Well the next day the dog died. I got scared and took the dog and hide him in my parents deep freezer. The neighbors have signs up in the neighborhood with a reward for the dog. I feel real bad and hope I don't go to hell. I was just scared. Will I go to jail? I need advice fast. My parents are surley going to notice the dog in the freezer.

Why would you put poison out to kill opossums anyway?
Do you realize that death by antifreeze is one of the most horrid ways that a animal can die?
I would come clean, "tell your parents FIRST" and together with them decide how to tell the neighbors.
If you had not gone to the extreme of putting the dog in the freezer, "which is really bizarre" things wouldn't have had to be quite so bad. But putting the dog in the freezer, makes it appear that you were actually out to kill the dog, nothing else.
If it were truly an accident, you wouldn't have anything to worry about, however... hiding the body of the dog, putting antifreeze out "to kill what ever comes along and ingests it" seems kinda of questionable.
It's possible you can face charges on this.

I doubt you will go to hell because GOD loves sinners and being a Christian, you will surely be forgiven.

However, killing someones dog is a crime. More than likely, you will be charged with animal abuse and will have to spend some time in the slammer.

On the bright side, you will probably be the most popular boy in the cell block (They like 'em young and tender)! The men serving time for more violent crimes will take turns making you their special girlfriend!

Your parents will be be ashamed by your bad behavior and will become the pariahs of the neighborhood. Some people will shun them and others will toss bricks through their windows. They will have to move to escape the reticule.

So sad....a family torn apart and the life of an innocent dog wasted just because you wanted to kill some poor 'possums!

Your story is as fishy as your deadly tuna mixture.

You need to fess up fast, if your parents do find the dog in the freezer, you may have a lot of explaining to do and if you don't tell them now they might not believe what you say, and I'm sorry to say but someone might think you are off kilter and send you to therapy.

Hopefully your neighbor likes you and you can be extremely appologetic about this incident, they might believe you and let you make it up to them yourself, by doing yardwork or helping them in some other meaningful way, and you need to mean it.

Your parents are in danger of being sued, you need to act quicker, like get off of the computer and tell them right NOW.

Hopefully your neighbors will be understanding, get the poor thing out of the freezer, that's just gross.

There is no need to do anything because I'm very sure this never happened.

For anyone else answering Bignastytrucker, Johnneedsanewname2 and probably others names are just the same person posting links to viruses and crap on here. Unless of course you want to use them like the scum they are and just make 2 points off their lame questions then by all means free free too ;)

Your story is more likely to be that of a silly movie. In case it is really true, I think you should tell your neighbors the truth, apologize to them, and never ever intend to kill an animal again unless you really have to.

I think you should confess to your neighbors. That's the morally correct thing to do.

What are you gonna do when your parents go in their deep freeze?

Their are other ways of getting rid of opussums, than putting the neighborhood pets at risk of death!

The best thing is just to tell them the truth. It wasn't your fault.. Just tell them exactly wfat happened and you didn't know it was a dog. There's no way around it. Good luck!! =o)

Don't Panic! Tell them the truth. they'll understand. They will take their dog's death pretty hard, they might even be upset and mad at you, but they will come around.
