i just feel like he is giving me the 2nd choice of what closet I have and what kind of space for my things i have. He is giving me the worse stuff. and i mean, it is his apartment so he should get what he wants, but i feel like he is just giving me whatever is left over and he doesnt care about what I want. However, when I asked him about it he said that he is making an extra effort to make sure that i get a lot of space. Is that just him bull sh*tting me or is he serious? Should i just lighten up?

You sound whiney and selfish! If I were him, I would tell you to get your own place because you are going to drive him nuts and he will end up throwing you out. Better rethink this, sweetie.....I already feel sorry for him.

He was there first. So it's only natural that he has to make room for you. Take what you can get, and accept it with grace. He's doing you a favour. He probably wasn't expecting to live there with anyone, so it's probably smaller than both of you would like. You can however, ask him to compromise and maybe let you keep your work clothes in the nice closet so you don't have to fold them or go downstairs to get dressed (which is what one of my friend's had to do when she moved in with her guy).

Wait until you move somewhere else to get a completely democratic division of closet space.

Well sometimes guys are oblivious to some things. He probably is making an extra effort for you. Guys just think in guy terms not girl terms. Thats what he thinks is best.

If I understand this correctly, you're upset because you're moving into your boyfriend's apartment, but he isn't giving you enough room. It's his apartment. If you feel like you don't have enough space, or like he doesn't care about your needs, then what are you moving in for? Don't!

i think you should go to his apartment and make him make space for you. i mean talk is talk but when one does the action that's when you should think thats not bullsh*ting...do you know what i mean? and yea just lighten up a bit. i mean if he doesn't make space yell at him or something till he makes space for you.

if you are not agreeing with it now, you are not going to make it long once you move in with him, it will probably just get worse.........I would think about it and give it consideration on the issue......
