(For Black women only) What do you look for in a man?

I look for common interest and goals, similar moral beliefs, religious upbringing. A man who understands that in order to have a successful relationship both of us must be capable of having expressive and instrumental roles because we're both human beings and life and society is complex enough.

Must have confidence in himself, a good sense of humor, good health and hygiene. He doesn't have to be rich but can manage his money wisely for his own well-being in life. Respects everyone especially women and himself.

Personality, compassion, honesty, a little shy, and a homebody are all the things I look for in a man. Race, color, creed, and age has never been a factor for me.

Some women not only black women look for money. I on the other hand am looking for a honest, devoted, godly, sensitive and someone that is ready to be a man. Now don't get me wrong money does help because you have to live and so do I. But if you are the right guy, we can do it together.

What women want in a man differs form social class to social class.

Black women you find in a college, will want an open minded man.
In some places, a lot in the south, some black women want a man who can provide for them so they can be housewives.
Black girls who are hood, tend to want guys with money.

Most of us just want attractive and faithful men.
I think that's what most women want.

listen to the that guy, you have to have some money. i am not talking about millions or even thousands, but enough to go out and have a good time once in a while. the next thing is to be smart in some way even street smart but skilled at something like plumbing or electrical or computer that always helps.

religion, morals, values, respect, confidence, knowledge, goals mainly whats on the inside not the outside. there are so many men that have attractive covers that are hollow on the inside and too many men that appear plain that are full of life and love on the inside.
