I hate Greyhound and their customer service arrangement (which they don't have any.) The room inside their buses is very cramped!

I once traveled from Dallas to Hendersonville North Carolina on a greyhound with the anticipation of being able to sight see out the windows with my two young sons in particular when we drove through Tennessee. Well we drove through there during the night. I had to laugh when the boys asked what hotel we were stopping at that night, and called out to the driver to please stop at McDonald's and Walmart and then ask me what was wrong with the driver. We only had to make one transfer. People were very nice to us after we crossed into Arkansas people would wave hello as our bus drove by. It wasn't that bad. The fares were $69.00 versus $1200. per person to fly. I would consider it again if I needed to. Of course we endured ridicule from folks when we arrived at the fancy boys camp where I worked the summer as a staff nurse in exchange for the boys to attend. The folks were from Jupiter Island Florida and could not believe we would ride a greyhound bus. They wouldn't have but I am glad I did it.

don't even get me started. I'd rather walk Thur a desert. my experience was from hell i now call greyhound the Hell Hound. it stunk the people were nasty the bus drivers were a Mexicans and probably illegal. the bus stops were nasty if the heath dept. had any idea about the rest rooms on that bus, they would have to close them down, bacteria was rampant. there was feces, urine vomit blood all over the place even in the floor of the bus the smell was enough to make a person vomit and i did . trust me don't ride the Hell Hound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be hatin'! Planes only go to certain airports, they make you strip naked and bend over in front of everyone to see if you're carrying any weapons, and you can't see much of anything from six miles up. Greyhound is a wonderful way to travel and see the country, and you get to keep your clothes on.

I'm not big on any kind of bus line. I just spend the extra money and go by plane whenever possible.
