If illegals were burning a US flag in my city, they wouldn't go to jail. The cops would look the other way because they wouldn't want the bleeding heart liberals downing the department with accusations of racism. The cops would leave it to street justice.

LOL If illegals or anybody as far as that goes burnt a American flag in this little hick town I'm from , somebody would be strung up , and i say that with all seriousness , I'm not exaggerating whatsoever and the cops would just look the other way

Did you hear about that guy in Ohio that was arrested for burning the American flag? That really happened not very long ago. They should be arrested for that. They're not even supposed to be here. I don't have the link right now but I read it and if you want, I will look for it and send it to you. They called the guy Marco Polo because he wouldn't give them his real name. (he probably had so many IDs in his pocket, he couldn't remember who he really was)

Well, given that it's not generally illegal to burn the flag, they wouldn't be going to jail for that regardless of their immigration status.

Burning the flag isn't illegal, and I don't think they want to draw attention to themselves by burning flags anyway.
I'm happy that burning the flag isn't illegal. It is free expression.

I thought burning the flag was part of the freedom of speech in the US. Its not right but people do it to make a point these days.
