I see a lot of people whinning about jesus bashers and the like, but would this even be an issue if Christ Cultists didn't use this medium to proselytize and quote bible scripture and judge others?
As I pointed out in another Question Yahoo Answers is meant to be a database of human knowledge, not a database of ignorance. Bible scripture should never be used to answer a question unless thats what the question is about. Sure, list that pile of poo thats the bible as your source, but when it comes to your answer can you Christ Cultists use your own words? Have you been so brainwashed that you are no longer capable of a thought of your own?
If thats the case, you do not belong here and you should expect the harsh treatment you get for trying to turn this depository of knowledge into a sunday school lecture.

Okay, so which pile of poo would you suggest I consult for direction in life? Since my own pile of poo (which has survived for nearly 2,000 years) is no longer the going thing, show me another set of instruction manuals.
Your question presupposes that only non-Christians have a hammerlock on rational thought. I hate to rain on that particular parade, but I can show you hundreds of believers who are just as rational as you claim to be. Slapping a derogatory label such as 'Christ Cultist' on an entire group of people doesn't exactly make you King of the Rationalism Hill. That is a subjective term, and one thing I know most rationalists can't stomach is subjectivity.
If you honestly believe this ersatz Wikipedia wanna-be site is a true depository of knowledge, then now would be a perfect opportunity to flush out your head gear. You have 13 year olds asking how to perform oral sex, and pedophiles trolling for underage girls to chat with privately. I'd much rather see religious people express the positive aspects of their faiths than be forced to decide if Chris Brown is gayer than Chingy every day.
I'm a Christian, and I'm definitely capable of forming a thought or two of my own. Wouldn't you just love to know what I really think about atheists who are more obsessed with God than I am? I think you protest way too much, and someday you're going to find yourself in need of the very same spiritual guidance you try so hard to denigrate today.
Go away and do something constructive for society.

You are attacking people for not being rational. Yet you've replaced rational argument with an emotion outburst, by using derogatory terms ( like pile of poo), no facts, blaming an issue that is the fault both sides of the argument only on the people who represent one side of the argument.
In short you are being a hypocrite.
Your hypocrisy is underscored with the fact you are ranting about people not using this website the way it was intended while in the process also not using this website the way it was intended.
Yes you included some questions marks in your Little sermon but there does seem to be a real intent of asking for information.
The best way to combat those who are not rational on this website is to ask rational and legitimate questions not join in the ranting.

Funny how this section is called "Religion and Spirituality" and Christianity is a religion. Hmmm...who's being stupid here? This is a place where all religions are invited to come and speak. If you're not in a religion, then why are you here? How is this question helping the "database of ingfomation"? Guess what? I've learned about other religions that are out there because of this site. Yes. However, this "War" you speak about is already won for us. We are just trying to save the remaining lost for their sakes, not ours. Unfortunately, for many, the realization of truth will be too late when they are standing with their faces up and their jaws dropped in disbelief when Jesus returns and the true sheep are wisked into the air alongside of Christ. All hope is forever lost for those who have grounded themselves for failure to Study the Bible and pray for understanding before they critized Christians for "polluting the world " with their preaching of the truth. The Bible says to prove all things. Why don't you actively study the Bible and then pass your jugement on us? I( quarrantee is you do the above, You will thank us in the end for caring about you.

For someone who is supposed to be so intelligent and full of reason, you sure are narrowminded! Just because someone doesn't believe the way you do, does not mean they don't belong here! How can we have a truly fair and balanced database if it only accepts one view? You're contradicting yourself if you think that having reason is bashing those who believe differently than you! I have never been brainwashed, never had anyone cram any sort of belief down my throat as to make me believe it. I discovered what I believe is the truth on my own, with an open mind and without bashing others' ideas and beliefs. Regardless of the differences in "spiritual" beliefs, there is one thing that holds true in every "religion" in the world and that is every one of them wish for peace among men and bashing and name-calling and belittling those who are different than you, is definitely not the way to convince others you are right in what you think or say.

I don't see what you are worried about. If your view is correct then life is a statistical anomaly. So life is meaningless. Is that why you hate so much? You don't like being meaningless. Freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. Be happy and don't worry, if you are right then we will all blink out of existence and what we have believed will not have mattered.

Thank you Robert! That was much more succinct than anything I put on here that was revolving around the same idea.
They even do it in the books section! When I ask for any good books to read- DO NOT TELL ME THE BIBLE!
I want more concrete answers than "jesus is the answer"!
