give me one good reason why islam is the fastest growing religion.. even in some parts of america?

i think people have awakened now.. and are hearing the call to the straight path towards their lord.

because it makes sense,

once people stop being so ignorant and study it a little they begin to realize that not all Muslims are terrorists and the quran does not preach negativity in fact countless scientific discoveries have been made from the holy quran, and then there are scientists that make a discovery then realize that it has been written in the quran all along.

Judaism and Christianity both contradict each other and are both filled with holes.

i mean i bet most Christan's don't no what Christmas actually is....and no its not Jesus birthday lol....its a pagan holiday and so is Easter, if you dont believe me read it your self.

but I'm not hear to make bad remarks about other religions because at the end of the day we all believe in one god, which is the most important thing, because in the quran not once does it say that any1 that is not a Muslim wont go to Paradise because they will, just live you life in a good way and respect others and others religions.

Couple of reasons:

1. Islam is growing because of favorable demographics (especially in Southeastern Asia. . .and the immigrants who come to the US from this populous region.)

2. The Prophet Mohammed is a real, historical figure. . .the same cannot be said for Christianity or Judaism, which continue to be steeped in controversy and even obscurity.

3. Islam, while prone to fundamentalist thinking and acting, can readily be a "moderate" religious lifestyle. . .and compatibility with all peoples and cultures. (Bahai is an offshoot of Islam and has been proving this to be the case.)

4. The message of the Prophet is straightforward for men and women to follow. . .and Islam, taken as a whole, has less dogma, ritual, and doctrines than the other Abrahamic traditions.

I appreciate the question. . .and believe the time has come for Islam to be better understood. . .by those who know it. . .and not simply by Comparative Religion majors!

Islam is a very simple religion, it doesn't has so many turns like Christianity. Besides if people want a fast and easy conversion, that conversion will be to Islam, you just have to say the phrase:"I witness there is no god but God and that Muhhamed is his last prophet". Done. You're a Muslim, even if you're not going to practice Islam. If you want to pray 5 times day,abandon gambling, don't eat unhealthy pork and not drink alcohol. It's your decision. Hey, I find it pretty healthy, that's a reason why I'm Muslim.

If a religion has few followers to begin with and then doubles in size - they say it is the fastest growing religion. It is like having 50 orange trees in your backyard and 1 mango - and then your trees increase by 1 mango (which is a 100%) increase, and 1 orange and then you can say the mango trees are the fastest reproducing trees - even though you still only have 2 mango trees and 51 orange.
It is a matter of mathematics - a simple trick many marketing firms use to skew results of a growing company.
There are so many Christians that there is not room for exponential growth. Take a math class.

Because over 2000 years ago (BEFORE THE LIAR MOHAMMED) Jesus prophesied (and it is in several places in the Bible) that many more will follow the false prophets and teachings than the teaching of the truth. That is why it is written: the road to Salvation is narrow

BTW.....did you know that Islam would not even be around if it weren't for the cowardice and lies of Mohammed himself??? In his quran....he tells of killing and waring as being acceptable, but it was Muhammed himself who RAN from his enemies and then had to LIE to a CHRISTIAN king in order to have safe passage across his land. This is a fact !!! Not a good, true way to start a "religion" is it??? JESUS never ran from anyone!!! first of all its the best religion to practice.. it have no contradictions.. the book of Quran contains so many scientific verses which are astonishingly amazing... 1400 years ago no one could've ever imagined such a science from an illiterate person... even today if you go to africa and ask an illiterate 40 year old man that can you write? he will say no... you will ask him about the moon's light.. he will say that it has its own light.. you will ask him about earths orbit.. he will not know.. you will ask him about the shape of this earth.. he wont know anything.. you will ask him about barrier in sweet and salty water.. he will not know.... and 800+ more scientific verses which goes as far as telling the SPEED OF LIGHT AND THEORY OF RELATIVITY in QURAN... most people say that why didnt muslims tell the theory of relativity first if it was in QURAN.. but to be honest they told it even before EINSTEIN was born... a muslim scientist named ABU BAKR QAZI told it first!

One good reason is that Christianity has so many holes in it in that the doctrine constantly is in conflict with itself. Also, the concept of original sin is ridiculous. How can a newborn have sin?????? There are many polytheistic qualities to Christianity that are intrinsic to all the different Christian religions.
