I try to buy a can of red bull, they charge 2 dollars a can for 8oz can. The taste is not too good, and it does not give me energy as they say... So why so expensive?

Because the product if full of bull. Did you know that Red Bull is once of the worst products you can consume as far as doing damage to your teeth! You would be far better off with a general vitamin suppliment that contains many of the "B" vitamins. If you want an energy boost, try Coke Blak. It is a combination of Coke and Coffee. By the way, Coke was rates lowest in most packaged drinks that damages teeth.

Buy a cheaper version, like IRN-BRU 32, Red Rooster or a supermarket's own brand of energy drink. Taste is just as good and the price is about 60% of what you'd pay for red Bull.

I know I switched to the ones put out by Coke, the orange can is orange pineapple citrus, that black can is a lemon lime citrus and the red is my favorite. They are the same price as the red bull but double the amount. Or go to Walmart and get a 4 pack it is cheaper that way.

Good question, I would also like to know, however, I do know that it does give certain people energy. I personally jump off the walls when I drink it. And you tend to get used to the taste after a while... I actually have grown to like it.
Perhaps it is supply and demand?

i dont know but all energy drinks at the place i work are priced 199 plus tax for 8-12 oz the larger ones are 299 plus tax

because it has Taurine in it. Not sure if thats how you spell it. But its an extract from bull's testicles. This is totally true for those of you who didnt know this fact.....if more people knew would they actually drink the stuff?

Everything that is terrible on your body is expensive--cigarettes, beer, cocaine, butter, pizza, they're all expensive. Why should Red Bull be any different?
