Dude, whose picture is that on you avatar, is that who I think it is?
OK; to try to answer your question; I think that they are not embarrassed here to post such questions because no one knows them and they will get answers from many different kinds of people. and the subject probably interests them because they are worried about procreation and continuation of their last name.

Because this is the singles and dating category. When your mother tells you men are only after one thing... she's not talking about them wanting your money.
Most of dating is about holding hands, and hugging, and whispering sweet nothings, and flirting, and kissing, and groping, and harcore... umm.. conversations about wedding plans, and honeymoons, and usually there's some sex involved somewhere along the lines.
Singles... well, some people are called to be single and never burn with passion, but most singles are desperately trying to not be singles, and to be dating, or married instead.
Why people talk about sex in some of the other forums... aside from the "Women's Health," and the "Men's health" is a bit beyond me, but I suppose there's a lot of talk about sex because it's something most everyone's a bit curious about, and since Yahoo now requires everyone to be over 18 to have a yahoo account (Remeber that part?) in theory, nobody here should be too immature to handle adult content.
It would be nice to be able to choose whether or not you have to see that sort of content though... but people can't even be bothered to tell whether their nude pictures on their profiles are adult content or not, and questions get in the wrong category all the time.

Not everyone talks about sex and junk like that. Obvious you must be too young and maybe should not be on this website if you can't stomach the questions about stuff like that.

Because they have nothing else better to talk about or ask. Plus sex questions are always answered.

Because sex falls under singles and dating, I would think. There's lots of other categories where people don't talk about it. Perhaps you'd be happier there.

because much of real dating is "yuck" to you at this age. they are talking about the real stuff that occurs in adult dating. when you are older you will understand.
