I don't know Charlie and Lola but my question to you is were the heck are Max and Ruby's parents? Sure Grandma stops by once in a while but Ruby is left in charge of that kid all day. What is she 6 and he is about 18mnths? My husband and I laugh at this all the time. And if you really want to go bonkers try watching caillu if he was my kid he would be spending allot of time in the corner.

I've never heard of Charlie and Lola, but I happen to like Max and Ruby. I think it's a cute show and my two year-old stops everything whenever it comes on. On the other hand, the song does tend to stick in one's head to point of mental breakdown.

Max and Ruby at least have more of a story plot..what about Sesame St., I know it more for older children, but youngers do like the colors and sequences ( I personally can't handle Elmo's voice) or shut of the tv and give her a few books..she can make up the story..we have quite a few of the Max books

LOL I don't know what Charlie and Lola is but my almost 3 year old daughter is rather fond of Max and Ruby. Another constant in our house thanks to Comcast On Demand is Calliou. Be patient and something else will soon catch their eye.

MAX AND RUBY, for sure... Just watching it makes me sick. Where are the parents ? kids living at home " alone". While Ruby plays with her friends, or with her dolls, not to mention cooks for Max, gives him a bath..Max, plays around with his toys usually unattended, goes shopping for his big sister" alone". How can anyone make a show like this. But Kids still Love it. Weird. Sends out a bad message if you ask me. Young mother like situation.

Draw. Both have their down-sides. But I like the theme song for Charlie and Lola, plus it's only 15 minutes long.

I LOVE CHARLIE AND LOLA!!!! He is such a caring big brother, and she is so creative! Where's your childhood? Have you lost your marbles? I hate The Doodle Bops. Have you ever noticed their yellow teeth? And don't even get me started on the Wiggles...
