- What do you call this feature (technical name)?
- I assume it cannot be tempered ("roll back the mileage")? Can you trust this number when buying a used camera?

Most dSLR cameras keep track, but a lot of models won't reveal this information. Try searching for your model + 'actuations'

This feature is not restricted to DSLRs,I have a Canon A700 and it has this feature. I don't know if it can be rolled back.

Yes. But not sure about the name. you may want to try to search for in google site. I remember I saw it somewhere doing a search using keyword similar to this one.
