I know about water vapor trails behind planes, what about the ones that actually become clouds w/weird colors?

I often see unmarked planes that don't fly in commercial airpaths that leave trails in the sky, sometimes up to a dozen of them at a time, sometimes parallel to each other, and sometime perpendicular. After a while, these clouds spread out and either become a haze or become "clouds" and when the sun passes behind them there is usually a rainbow of pink and yellow, and sometimes green, definately not normal.

I know all about water vapor trails (con-trails) but those dissipate rather quickly (usually within a few minutes), but these clouds stay all day and end up creating weird colors and patterns in the sky.

Please visit my gallery of pictures I took at http://weathermodification.shutterfly.com to see what I'm talking about if you don't already know what I mean. These are pictures I've taken and the "rainbows" are more like an oil slick than a natural rainbow....

It looks very un-natural, perhaps file a freedom of information request and see if you can obtain any information from our government on what they are doing.

I do have tried to research this, but there is limited information, and the second you mention chem-trails you get called crazy

good luck! :)

Some people think that contrails represent a problem because they believe that we are being sprayed with some sort of chemical or other nasty thing.

This is not likely because at the altitude that these trails occur, the dilution factor for people on the ground would be so great that the chemical dosage would be exceedingly light and not enough to hurt anyone.

If it were a biological agent, there are problems as well. Mostly, dumping microbes way up in the atmosphere would expose them to intense temperature problems and also expose them to u.v. Small particles, chemicals would also drift considerably from the target.

The only "weird" scenario I can think of would be that some type of weather modification could result from the sun reflecting back into space from the highly reflective trails. This could cause global cooling. This is supported by the increase in solar radiation observed at ground level in the period of time following 911 when air traffic over the US was suspended.

Sailors have long known to watch how jet contrails behave. If they evaporate quickly then the upper atmosphere is dry. If they start forming clouds than the upper atmosphere is moist, so there's rain on the horizon . . .
