A lot of my mates in their spare time go to disco clubs where they drink beer and so on. I dislike it, and I prefer spending my time in chess club over it. I have never been to a disco club, and I don't want to go there. Is it OK to be what I am?????
*I am a middle school student, by the way.

You can't be anything but yourself - trying to be somethign you are not will not make you happy.

You have middle school friends going to clubs and drinking? I suggest a new set of friends - those folks are trouble on the rise.

Drinking beer and going to clubs in middle school? What messed up city do you live in?

You sound like a well rounded and highly educated little person. You will be on the top of your class, get great grades, have wonderful attendance and get accepted to a great college. Don't give into pernament distractions, temporary are okay.

Have fun, get good grades and you will have the best future.

Being who or what you are is what makes you unique. It's ok to be different. There are alot of other ways to have fun without drinking and partying at the clubs. Maybe you just need a new group of friends.

There is NOTHING wrong with wanting to stay home. Chess is mental stimulating! So your gonna be smarter then them! Disco is kinda stupid n-e-ways. Always be comfortable with who you are.

It is totally OKAY to be what you are! You have to be true to yourself, being someone you are not just makes you miserable. Find new/other friends who like the same things you do. My oldest did his own thing in middle school and he has plenty of good friends that like the same stuff he does.

Be who you are and forget what everyone else is doing. At least you will be alert in the class when all your drinking budddies will be doing the head bobbing thing.

Be who you are. You aren't missing a thing in the clubs.

I'm the same way, its the smart way to be. It means that when you have a Ph.D in Quantum Physics you can laugh at them while they shine your $10,000 leather shoes.
