anybody been in jail and for how long? and for what?

yes i have been in jail,for 7 hours and the charge was assault.and it was`nt because i`m redneck or anything.i was 40 years old at the time and also the other person that brought the charge against me was charged with the same thing.i am also female and was brought up to believe that you do not stand still while the other person beats the crap out of you.
