You enjoy each other, this will be the last time you will have a full week to yourselves. After the honeymoon, you get back to the real world. So enjoy each other physically but also emotionally. Go out and spend intense quality time together. That way you will always have that time to look back on, when you hit little bumps in the road.

Hello. Often times getting married can be quite an ordeal. There is much planning, preparation and hard work that couples choose to do to make their wedding wonderful and memorable. The wedding day itself, although magnificent and meaningful, can be exhausting! For these couples, their honeymoon, should involve a lot of peace and rest. they spend tons of money to go on a trip to somewhere they'd never be able to afford to go to, and there's tons of stuff to do. however, they just spend all their time in their hotel room "doing the nasty" instead of going out and actually enjoying the sites. the whole "vacationing" thing, well, that's for the second honeymoon, years later :)

RELAX!!! After the long stressful process leading up to the wedding, the last thing you need is to be backpacking through a foreign country where you don't know the language or something. RELAX. Recover from the wedding.

Recoup from the wedding stress, enjoy each other--on many levels--emotionally, physically, mentally--- and enjoy the area that they choose to visit. It really depends on the couple.
