Girls with low self-esteem like bad guys, because they don't feel they deserve better. Some girls also believe they can change a guy with a bad reputation and "save" h im from himself and then he'll be forever indebted to her and this raises her self esteem. It's all a self image problem. If these girls actually thought good about themselves they wouldn't go out with someone that is beneath their own values, they would move up the relationship ladder not down.

for the same reason that the good guys always fall for the bad girls. It would be much better if good was with good and bad was with bad but maybe this is how the world evens out.

opposites attract. Bad guys keep good girls on their toes, and keep 'em wondering what's next. It's not so boring when ur different...as long as u can make the differences work. Besides, good guys are shy usually, and that's why they finish last, because most girls like to be asked out. Why do good guys fall for bad girls? Same reason probably...that, and they're probably easy too.

When I picked up on this one there were already 38 answers. I hope you don't get tired of reading before you get to my reply. I think the theory of the polished-up old coin story applies here. You find an old coin. It is tarnished and dirty but you know you can clean it up and polish it into not only something that is acceptable but beautiful or even coveted. Some of those "bad" boys out there can be the coin and you can be the holder of a beautiful "coin" to hold and cherish -to polish and make shine for the whole world.

For the same reason good guys fall for bad girls. Polarity!
Nature, even beyond our concept of reality, trying to keep the
balance.
But we have a spirit within that has control over this. If we
acknowledge it!

You should read this book called, "He's Just Not That Into
You" by Greg Behrendt. You can probably find this book
at your local library. The author is going to have a TV
show in the fall (I need to find out what channel.) It tells
all about relationships. I really like the author. I'm going to
read more of his books. The book is sometimes funny.

To get their parents mad.
TRULY, I have no idea! It just seems that guys out of their limits seem more attractive and well, entertaining. When something is forbidden, it is coveted even more. However, many people would consider me a "good girl" and I like "good guys". I pity the bad guys, there has to be a reason they turned out that way!

Bad guys have a passion to them, a fire.. You can't resist that look. You love the suprises, the never knowing what to expect. I've had encounters with a few and they've taught me more about myself. Maybe you're not as good as you thought you were, or maybe you're even more saintly. For me it was all about the spirit, the passion, the energy. I've learned I'm not as good as I thought I was..But not as devilish as some girls.
