Here are some recipes I got for you...


Lip Smackin' Trail Mix
Recipe courtesy Paula Deen

2 cups granola (recommended: Hudson Valley Dessert Company)
3/4 cups coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
1 (3 1/2-ounce) can flaked coconut (1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds (meat only)
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 cup banana chips (optional)
1/2 cup dark raisins
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup dried apricots, diced

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except banana chips and raisins, cherries and apricots. Mix well. Spread evenly in an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 55 to 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven; stir in banana chips, raisins, cherries and apricots. Cool thoroughly. Store tightly covered at room temperature.



Chocolate Popcorn Trail Mix

2 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
2 cups popped reduced-sodium reduced-fat microwave popcorn
2 cups POST SPOON SIZE Shredded Wheat Cereal
1 cup dried cranberries

MICROWAVE chocolate in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min., stirring after 30 sec. Stir until completely melted.
ADD popcorn and cereal; toss to evenly coat.
SPREAD into single layer on large sheet of waxed paper. Cool. Toss with cranberries before serving.


Trail-Blazing Snack Mix

2 cups POST ALPHA-BITS Whole Grain Oat with Corn and Wheat Cereal
2 cups unsalted popped popcorn
1 cup small pretzel twists
3/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup PLANTERS Salted Peanuts

MIX all ingredients in large bowl.
STORE in tightly covered container at room temperature.


Nature Lover's Trail Mix

3 cups POST SELECTS GREAT GRAINS Cereal, any variety
3/4 cup dried banana chips
1/2 cup yogurt-covered peanuts
1/4 cup quartered dried apricots
1/4 cup PLANTERS Sunflower Kernels

MIX all ingredients in large bowl. Store in airtight container.
