Too many (i used to have a juicer), it's seems like you'd be better off just eating the apples.

==================================

it would take about 12 apples to make 12oz of apple juice. but let me give you some advice. I'm a Community Health Educator and as much as I love apples, apple juice could be very harmful on the long run. The skin of the apple is very high on fiber. as we all know fiber is great for our bodies. it helps clean your intestines and gets rid off bad cholesterol.when you put an apple on a juicer machine all you end up with is a cup full of sugar. you are trowing away the fiber your body needs and you just end up good a cup full sugar and extremely high on calories. be careful I wouldn't want you to end up with diabetes when you get older. try eating the apple instead its a lot healthier.

your friend,

Tommy

PS. the guy bellow me is not sure what he is talking about. I would not take his advice if I was you. try going in to the 5aday.com website. you can find more complete information.

About 12 apples.

"Ingredients
12 Apples (Preferably baking apples)
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
Sugar (To taste)
Water
Mixing Instruction
Slice the apples and boil until soft, with enough water to cover them. Strain the juice in a bowl and stir in sugar until it has dissolved. Chill. Before serving, stir in 2 tsp. of lemon juice for every pint of apple juice. Dilute with water and serve over ice cubes in old-fashioned glasses."

..Of course, if you are using a juicer, the directions will be slightly different.

Apples are full of vatamin C and fibers, nothing else. Banana contains more minerals and fiber. mango, papaya, pineapple are better than apple. As for apple skin, please do not eat it, it contains oxalates. Citrus fruits like lemon, orange are best.
3 medium sized apples make a cup of juice.
