I have used MX 2004 and now use Dreamweaver 8. To a lot of people, the differences are NOT very noticeable but I, as a professional web developer, appreciate them tremendously. If you intend to maintain a large website, or create several designs really fast, I think DW is almost a must have. If, however, you are just starting out, it might be overkill.
As for chain stores that carry it, your best bet would be:
The Apple Store (the disk for the Windows and Mac version is the same)
I don't think many of your traditional stores carry it though. These don't for sure: Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City, Staples, etc. You may ask the people to order it for you, but then you might as well order directly from adobe.
Online:
amazon.com
adobe.com
Hope this helps.

Dreamweaver 8 has a lot of bugs and are not really WYSIWYG. However it is the best visual HTML editor.

specific you may positioned it on the internet! Why does no longer you be waiting to? with a bit of luck you have each and everything save to a folder, and is all effective and prepared interior. Then basically upload the folder on your internet host, or one record at a time finding on the host.

Any store with computer software would have it, I'd think. Or you can get it on http://macromedia.com
I haven't used that version, I have MX.
