I am a Christian.

While I have respect for those of other religions (Buddhists, Muslims, Baptists, Catholics, etc.), it is not possible for them all to be correct. Jesus said that He is the way (John 14:6), not one way among many. We will be judged by His words (John 12:48), not the words of whoever we choose to follow. While it is popular to say that all religions are different roads to God, it is not logical and it is not correct.

That religion, being a member of the church mentioned in the Bible, is the only one that can save a person eternally from his sins. That's why it is better than others.

By posting this and phrasing it the way you did, all you're asking for is a bunch of controversy. No religion is better than another. End of the story. That question is idiotic to ask. Anyone with half a brain can tell you that all the answer you're going to get is Christians praising Christianity, Catholics praising their religion, Pagans praising thiers, Muslims too, and so on. Athiests will say there is no religion, therefore no fight. So, save everyone the trouble...and think before you speak next time.

I follow Sufism, or tasawuuf in arabic, The Islamic way of mysticism. I was raised in a Catholic Family, although I never was baptized or had any real connection with christianity.
No more than a year ago, I discovered Islam, and when I Iearned about it I had no problem converting religion. Converting to Islam is something so easy that it shows its worderfull simplicity. Just say the Shahada with a witness, and done! Your're a muslim.

In case you don't know the shahada is the famous phrase:"No god but God and Muhamed is his prophet."

Now here is where I state than converting to simple religion of Islam is so much easy than christianity, for this one you have to be baptized, and converting to judaism is hell to difficult. Besides some odd rituals you have to study for a year or so and your petition of conversion must be processed by a council of rabines. Who are those people to decide your spirituality?

Now Islam is simple because there are no intermedaries between you and God, and this is the whole base of sufism. Sufism says that God is reflected in everything in our world, that he is not only a being up in heaven but all the things we see an perceive. It just you and God in the idea of Sufism. Everything in a very spiritual way.

Other Religions take to many turns and loops, Sufism gives a straight road to God a god we can feel in the world we live in.

I could write much more things, but I do'n't want to be boring.

I am Asatru, a Norse Pagan. And it's not better than any other religion. No religion is better or worse than the others. They're just unique from each other. Or maybe it's better to say it's up to each INDIVIDUAL to decide what religion is best for him or herself.

I guess you could say that mine is unique in that it's reconstructing the old faith of the Old Norse in it's worship of the Norse Gods, and it's a polytheistic religion in a world overrun by monotheism and pantheism, and it is rather organic. But better than everyone else? No. It's better for ME, but I'm not going to say it's best for everyone cause it's probaly not.

NO religion is better than other religions. The FOLLOWERS of some religions have the misguided idea that their religion is the best and that everyone else's religion is "wrong" -- but that is 100% false! Only closed-minded, indoctrinated followers feel that way.

The truth is that we ALL find our OWN path to the "Divine", however we define that concept. :) ALL of us are entitled to that, and NO ONE is entitled to tell us otherwise, or to try to persuade us to change our beliefs if we don't wish to.

"Live and let live".

Christ's original church ended with the great apostasy. Joseph Smith, by the authority of God himself, reorganized Christ’s original church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) to the earth with Christ himself as the cornerstone or leader: Read: Acts 3:19-21 and Matt. 17:11-13. It is the same organization that existed in Christ's original church: Read Eph. 4:11-14, 1st Tim. 3: 1-8 and Luke 10:1. It bears the name of Jesus Christ: Read: Eph. 3:21 and Acts 4:12. We claim revelation from God: Read: Amos 3:7 and Proverbs 29:18. Our officers or General authorities are called of God: Read: Heb. 5: 4 and Exodus 40:13-16. We do not have a paid ministry: Read: 1st Cor. 9:18, 1st Peter 5: 13, 2nd Thess. 3: 8 and Acts 20:34. We are a missionary church: Read: Matt. 24: 4, Matt. 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15. We have a foundation of Apostles and Prophets: Read: Eph. 2:19-20 and Luke 6:13-16.We claim divine authority: Read: John 15:16 Heb. 5: 4-12. We practice divine healings: Read: Mark 6:13, Mark 16:17-18, James 5:14-16 and Luke10: 9. We teach that God and Christ have bodies of flesh and bone: Read: Luke 24: 36 39. We teach that God and Christ are separate and distinct individuals: Read: Acts7: 55-56. We bestow the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands: Read: 2nd Tim.1: 6, Acts 8: 16-17and Acts 19: 6. We are called Saints: Read: 1st Cor. 14: 33 and Eph. 4:12. We baptize by immersion: Matt. 3: 16, Mark 1: 9-10, John 3: 23 and Acts 8: 38-39. We practice baptism for the dead: Read: 1st Cor. 15:29 and Heb. 11: 39-40. In Heb. 13:8, you will find why these things are important.

So, you see, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was not founded in the year 1830 at all. It was founded by Christ during his ministry and restored to the earth in these latter days as foretold by the ancient prophets.

The bible also tells of the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. Read: Isa. 29:4 on, Ezek 37: 15-20, and John 10:16. The book of Mormon in no way replaces the bible. It is but another testament of Jesus Christ as written by the people of the western hemisphere. It goes hand in hand with the bible as they testify of each other's truth. These are the people Christ spoke of when He said; “Other sheep I have which are not of this flock”. Do you believe that they would be left without the same guidance as those in the Eastern hemisphere?

I am Christian. But, I feel that no religion is better. I respect everyone's religion. I would want someone to treat me the same way. I am not like all those other Christians who are hypocrites, and who want to go around telling people they are going to hell and putting them down. That's just disrespectful. That is not the way a Christian should act.

I'm a Protestant Christian. I don't think my religion is "better" then anyone Else's I do believe it's the most true. Many religions have elements of truth but Christianity makes the most sense to me over all.

Christianity is supported by historical evidence. It teaches principles that prove true when acted upon.

And most importantly every other religion I'm aware talks about Men who are imperfect fixing themselves somehow so then they can reach "heaven" or enlightenment.

Christianity takes the view that we "broken" but we can't fix our selves only the one who created use can fix us. His given us a chance to be fixed.

This just makes more sense to me.

Christian

There is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved, other than Yoshua (Jesus) (Acts 4:10-12).

All other religions claim that you already have eternal life.

They claim you (your soul) cannot die.

This is the same lie the serpent told Adam's wife (Genesis 3:4).

However, contrary to popular opinion, souls die! (Ezekiel 18:4).
