then why do you almost all of them immediately for the better looking one compared to the average or not so good looking.

Well, to be honest, looks are way important. Even when we say they arent. The thing of it is though, is sometimes the personality shines through so much and you see beautiful women with ugly men. This isn't to say women are shallow, but how many times do you see a gorgeous guy with an ugly girl? I believe there's a certain aspect of love that is totally physical, and we all have physical needs that must be met. Not a lot of girls get out of their safety zone to date different kind of guys. I know I don't always go for the great looking guys, but I've found the more I get to know someone the more beautiful they become in my eyes. That's one thing I think everyone should shoot for.

By the same token that my husband claims men find monogamy difficult because they're still laboring under the ancient programming to spread their seed around as much as possible to ensure the survival of the human race... women are still trying to pick the best possible stud for healthy offspring based on looks. It's a double edged sword that cuts both ways!*wink*

dont think its a general thing in looks. To me a guy needs to have a certain thing. like a twinkle in his eyes or a dimple in his cheek and thats enough to be attracted to him. Also once you past a certain age looks really doesnt matter that much anymore as long as you find that one personal thing that attracks you the inner side really is a lot more important.

The guy does not have to be Brad Pitt lookalike to attract but at least, he must be presentable / decent looking so to speak ...
Face it, if the lady is fat and ugly, would you still be interested in her to begin with ?
Ladies are not looking for the most handsome man but there has to be a certain level of physical attraction before something can be developed from there ?

i've been asking that since i became a teenager girls always pick the hotter guy instead of the one who truly loves them, get's their heart broken, and goes back for more, which makes no sense, but in this world today, being good-looking means everything, and being loving caring kind and funny doesn't do a da** thing for them

Well that don't always go for the best looking one. Alot of women will choice the wealthy one over the good looking.

because its called physical attraction, and believe it or not, females are just as "controlled" as hormones as men are. But honestly, looks come 2nd to personality. If a girl doesnt know how to hold a conversation with me then all the *** in the world wont save her

some girls really go for the look...but for me the guy should know how to present himself...tats the most important thing...well...who will u choose....handsome guy with stinking attitude or average looking guy with a decent attitude..choice is urs
