Hi
To get my little girl to be trained at night I put her to bed with nothing on her bottom half and had a waterproof sheet etc on her bed. She only had two accidents at night with this method. I also suggested it to a friend who tried it with her little one and it worked for her too. Perhaps taking away the security of the nappy etc makes them realise they have to get up to go to the toilet.

Im just doign this now, let her be dry during the day for a couple of months before starting night time.

My daughter goes to bed at 7pm, so i dont let her have any drinks after 6pm. When she goes to bed I make sure she has a wee, then I get her up when I go to bed again for another wee. She is half asleep, and needs supporting on the loo or she falls off!

I have been doing this for 2 months now and have only had one accident, and that was my fault cos I went to bed really late and by the time I got there she was wet.

She was still wetting her night time nappy when we started trying, she was the one who asked if she could go to bed without a nappy, so I guess she thought she was ready, she has been really good with it, im gonna continue getting her up for the late night wee as long as she is still doing a fairly large wee at that time. When she starts maybe doing a lot less wee, I will try and let her go all night.

If she wets the bed night after night for a few days, give up for a couple of weeks and try again in the future.

All the best, it can be a nightmare, just dont tell her off if she wets the bed, its hard learning bladder control, so take it easy and let her do things at her own pace.

Good luck!

I think that it just comes with time. I had my daughter trained when she had just turned 2, in Sept. she will be 3 and she still pees in the night. I tried the waking her up in the night thing and limiting the drink thing but some kids just fall into such a deep sleep they can't control it..... Have you ever been dreaming you were in the loo and woke up just in time to make it there?? It's a wonder adults can make it in the night!!! From one struggling Momma to another, Goodluck!!

If she has only just become dry in the daytime, it is too soon to expect her to be dry at night. It will come with time in the next 6-12 months. It is viewed as normal that children can be wet up to the age of 6 at night, so don't worry too much about it. Encourage plenty of fluids during the day and don't be tempted to restrict them or wake her from her sleep to pee (this will only reinforce peeing in her sleep).

You have to just let her wet the bed,Take her to the loo when you go up to bed, just carry her and put her on it, don't give her drinks after 6ish and put a pampers training sheet on her bed and leave her to realise that she hasn't got her nappy on. Persevere and she will soon learn. I am going through the same thing right now with my 2 year old.
Good Luck

I did three things:

1) I told him to wake me up every time he has to go (for 2 months)

2) I would wake myself up 2 times a night to get him to go (for 2 months)

3) If he wet himself on the bed, I would turn on the lights and make him change the sheets (with a little help from me)(this was only for a few weeks, until he hated it and started going to the bathroom on his own!)

This really does work!!!!!!!!!!!

leave her , she will tell u when she is ready , if you force this upon them , it could makes things worse for the furture.
my daughter is 3 she still wets her nappy , but i will wait till she goes dry throught the night , like my son did , he was out of nappies just before he was 4 , he decided to get up and go by himself , i have no problems with him since

after every one or two hour you have to make the baby sit on her potty and make shi shi sound in her ear. she will take up the habit within a few weeks. my baby has stopped wetting after i started practising it.
