Able isn't listed either. Cain was condemed by God for killing Able, and Able was dead, so the lineage was carried out through Seth. The Bible tells us about the births of both Cain and Able to Adam and Eve (See Genesis 4:1-2). And then again when Seth was born (Gen. 4:25). It says "Adam knew his wife and she bare a son" not Satan knew Adam's wife! All of the descendants of Cain were destroyed in the flood. The geneologies were to trace the lineage of Jesus back through David to Adam - so Seth was the only choice. By the way, Seth's line continued because he was Noah's grandfather (10 generations back), and so his line was saved through Noah's family's obediance to God and the building of the ark.

Cain and Able had the same mother and father. The serpent did not have sex with Eve to make Cain or anyone else. Satan is a fallen Angel. Angel are spirit creatures. Only God has the power to create physical bodies. The only time the Bible records the physical appearance of an Angel is if the Angel is a messenger from God, not Satan or another fallen Angel.

The Bible also clearly states that each creature reproduces after it's own kind. Humans and Angel are different kinds. Even if fallen Angels could have sex they couldn't reproduce with humans.

Thirdly, genealogies are rarely exhaustive, rather giving just the highlights. So someone whose ancestors include a President and descended from passengers on the Mayflower may just mention those two facts and leave out Uncle Bob and Cousin Sue, especially if Uncle Bob was a murderer.

The Bible specifically says that Adam is the father of Cain.
(Genesis 4:1) And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Cain isn't listed later because he was not in the line from Adam to Abraham, and ultimately, to Jesus Christ. There is nothing in the Bible to teach the "serpent seed" doctrine, that Cain was not descended from Adam but by Satan (through conventional means), as taught by Arnold Murray.

lots of the genealogies circulate away human beings out for some reason or yet another. for example, the family contributors tree of Jesus in Matthew a million divides itself into 3 communities of 14. there have been many greater desirable than 14 generations between Abraham and David and Jesus, yet that's all it incredibly is mentioned. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, in case you will word, the substantial absolutely everyone seems to be those mentioned. With the family contributors tree of Adam (Genesis 5), the family contributors tree follows the line of Seth (the best youngster) by way of fact in financial disaster 4, Cain have been faraway from the family contributors for murdering his brother Abel. As for Cain's family contributors tree, it grow to be greater concentrated on the descendants from Cain than finding lower back (plus, it would kinda stupid to try this pondering he already comprehend approximately Adam and Eve).

Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Genesis 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Stop telling lies.

Both genealogies found at Matthew Chpt .1 and Luke Chpt.3 are relating to Jesus and not Adam.Matthew proves Jesus' legal claim to David's throne and Luke proves Jesus' nature claim as a descendant of David.
Cain is not mentioned because he was rejected by Jehovah God,hence the line of decent came through Seth

No it says he fathered cain. Cain had free will and he became jealous and it was a misuse of his free will.
They never followed the lineage of those who were unfaithful. They were more or less forgotten. Cast off.
They only lineage they followed was Seth and then Jacob never Essau his brother. That was a common practice.
God forgets those who are unfaithful.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and expel demons in your name and perform many powerful works in your name. and yet then I will confess to them I never knew you get away from me you workers of lawlessness. So even today those who sin are not known to God.

The reason why genealogies are included in the Bible is to give emphasis to people who were righteous and who were in direct connection to Jesus Christ. But in Genesis 4:16-24, you can see the family of Cain.

God bless you!

Good question, perhaps because Cain was banished for killing his brother.
