the Word Angel is Messenger , the Bible says we entertain Angels unaware. so often you are with a Messenger from God with out knowing it. How many know one knows but Ask God He send them.

Your guardian angel is your subconscious. Of course, those in days long long ago had no knowledge of consciousness, subconsciousness, etc etc, bioenergy or such.
