Oooh...I really feel for him. Jalapenos can really burn. He might want to try rinsing his nose with a saline rinse (about 1/4 tsp salt to half cup of warm water) to get rid of some of the oil. That's what causes the burning. Then apply some aloe vera gel. Hope this helps. Also, make sure he washes his hands well with warm water and soap after handling peppers. If he doesn't and he rubs his eyes, it'll be worse than his nose.

Try to get some milk in there (seriously). Milk calms burning mouths, why not the nose??
Just rinse out really well when the burning is gone.
Hope I'm not too late...

Instead of helping him wash out his nose you come on here? Some wife you are. I see a divorce in your future.

It'll wear out...Or hold his head under water and let water in his nose. I'll bet his sinus's are really going crazy.

And maybe keep him blowing his nose over the sink..just to get it out. JMO....?????
