Yes sort of. If a company or college has to have a certain percentage of non-whites in their establishment and then admit a less qualified person based on this it is a slap in the face for those who have worked hard to get good grades so they will have a chance at the better jobs or college admission. It should be based on qualification instead of color. Aren't there all black colleges now (I'm not sure but I think so) but if there was an all white college there would be screaming in the streets about discrimination.

I don't know if we're in an actual NUMBERS minority, but I can guarentee that we are in the minority category of men who will speak up for themselves.

I am not a bigot, but some of the things I see in other people could easily turn me in that direction were it not for my critical thinking skills.

When did WHITE" become to equal "BAD?" All of the diverse groups in this world have contributed something, good or bad, to shape the world as it is today. Why forget the positive contrbutions simply because you're offended at giving credit to a white person? Does that diminish the contributions of people such as Frederick Douglas, Booker T. Washington or Harriet Tubman? It shouldn't.

All races, religions and philosophies have a lot to be proud of, a lot to be thankful for and a lot to be ashamed of. The sooner we can look beyong the "skin deep" the sooner this planet will stop burning.

No. While young white men are discriminated against in certain circumstances it is still nothing compared to the prejudice faced by young minority men, young black men in particular. Moreover, they are still a majority, which by definition makes it impossible for them to be the minority.

Don't get me wrong, so called 'reverse discrimination' is a problem, but it still pales in comparison to problems faced by other minorities. If discrimination against young white men were on the same scale as the challenges facing other minorities surely we would see an enormous number of women and minorities taking over the workplace, particularly at the highest levels. Sadly most employers who care about diversity face an entirely different problem; finding enough minority candidates and retaining them as employees. This lack of minority candidates (so prevalent in skilled labor, executive, and university positions) would not exist were 'reverse discrimination' a wide-spread problem.

I dont think so ,is the way boys are being reared now with all the sissy stuff because boys and girls are the same.Boys and girls ARE DIFFERENT, the discrimination you are reffering to is caused by the white anglo male who is so impotent as to be causing his own downfall.i have never seen so many young males of any race so effeminate~1! Plug eyebrows, shaved hair all over, the walks, the voices , it is a sick thinking! What goes around comes around.

White males do face discrimination, but alot of it is also self inflicted and plays towards a self fulfilling prophecy. Whites are never allowed to forget incidents of ancestors regarding slave trades or colonialism. However that was long ago, and while shhould not be forgotten, should not be harboured on. Modern society should not be held acocuntable for the sins of the past. We are made to feel guilty for sins we did not commit and beliefs we amay not hold. That is unfair. In terms of the US it should be absed n skills and abilities, not diversity. To have a diverse staff or student body discriminates those who are actually better suited.

Absolutely.....I'm afraid the white man has come to the end of the road. Make no mistake that unpropertied white were considered as low as the slaves in American. The difference was the color of our skin. The blacks for example were marked by their skin color so it was easy to be separated out among others and come under cruel events. Us whites who were poor suffered some epochs but the whiteness of our skin protected us for the most part against humiliation. To agree with your point white people according to my observations are becoming more rare at least here in Sacramento, California..........

Minority is defined by numbers, not discrimination. There is currently no one group that is t true majority (50+%) in the US.

No, sorry. Look at the education that you get through entitlement and that of the inner city blacks and Hispanics. You still get a big head start.

Add to that the death of affirmative action under the Republicans and you've still got a tremendous advantage. If you're not making it, look for the problem within.

yes they are. We are looked down apon. When a black women from the getto looks at a successful white male, she gets pissed off of jealosy and rage. We work hare and people don't give credit to us. Since women want to work now, our wages decreased cause of an increased workforce. This is horriable. I wish life can be more simple then this crap. Another thing is the mexicans coming here and the blacks having like 10 kids. The more education one has, the less kids he would have. BLACK WHITE MEXICAN IM NOT PC THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
