The followers of God are not of any one country or one denomination of Christianity - they are followers in spirit. America is not a total Christian country like many would like to believe - many people who call themselves Christians would not be considered Christians according to the Bible.
Whatever happens in the MIddle East, America and this world has a purpose. Some will contribute to the world's downfall and others will try to love others and do as God has created us to do. I am a Native American - I did not chose to get wrapped up in western culture, but here I am and I believe that even that has a purppose. Many Native Americans were killed and enslaved, and many still live in poverty - but God has a purpose for everything and I trust in him.

What saten was offering was to give Jesus the world which he was in possession of at the time, without having to go through the beatings and the crucifixion.
Now if you were faced with getting lets say the house of yours dreams just for thanking and vocally proclaiming the name of the person that gave it to you, or you could get the same house of your dreams by going through torture unending, which would you choose?
Jesus chose to take the hard road, for he knew it meant the defeat of Saten, and the redemption of all our soals back to the father from which we came.
As for what we are doing over in the middle east, it is not my place to decide that. I have no daily memos from any sourse other than the media, which is not in a much better position to know exactly what is going on either. But with the newest news of the next major terrorist plot and the many countries involved in breaking it up, I would have to say what ever we are doing is definately working in our favor and against the terrorists.
If you are looking for Christians to be perfect, then you will be sorely dissappointed. We are not now and never will be perfect. You will always be able to find a weakness in any of us, this weakness will allow you to tempt us, sometimes beyond our ability to resist it. The difference between us and you is that we know and understand that we are not perfect, but we continue our walk with God and strive to be more and more like God on a continual basis.

I can see no reason that this question would cause any controversy.
We already buy their oil, and have for decades.
Your attempts to tie Jesus with Genocide is so far off base that I won't even respond.
America is not ran by the Bible, or by any Christian group, I think you mistakenly assign the American government to Christianity.
I am an American Christian and there are many things I don't agree with in the American Government.
We try to influence the government at the voting booth not with Guns and bombs.
Peace!
And if you want to learn about the faith so you can bash it more intelligently, try this source.

Think about it from a Christian point of view...wherever there is a place, whether physical or spiritual, that God is not present, evil (Satan) lives. The Bible says that you are either for God or against God, there's no middle. I don't know the exacts but for reference sake, let's say that out of the entire population of the world, 25% of the people are Christians. That means that 75%, according to the fact that if you're not for God, you're against Him, that 75% are on Satan's side. Jesus, if He would've accepted Satan's offer, would rule the 75%, not 25%.
Remember this about the Muslisms out East: We went over there after 9/11. They attacked first. Did we invade Iraq because of the oil? Heck of I know. Only those high up in the gov't knows the true answer. Why would the war be able oil if we are handing the country over to them? If it was about oil, wouldn't we stay in control of Iraq (so that we would be in control of the oil)? Christians are persecuted more than what most know. Go over to China, Christians are getting killed because of their faith. Is pres. Bush a True Christian (one that actually believes and follows, not a "Christian" that says they are one to make themselves look better)? I dunno. That's between him and the Man Upstairs. There's no place in the Bible that tells us to go out and committ genocide so most Believers don't go for that stuff. Did you know that Muslims are suppose to be loving as well? No where in the Koran does it say that they get 72 virgins when they die and yet they committ suicide to get those virgins. Whenever the Apocylpse comes, Chrstians will be killed left and right, out in the open, everywhere in the world.

I dont get the relevence of the begining of the question with its conclusion, I probably read it wrong.
We are in fair legal oil trade with only a meer few middle eastern countries, and we buy our oil at the same market price as the rest of the world. So i dont understand that part of it.
And Radical Islam wasnt an issue in this country, or in the world, until radical islam terrorists started blowing up our business offices and killing thousands of our people without prior attacks or provication. Islam is not a nation, it is a group. Just like Hezbullah isnt a coutnry, its an organization.
We're not in any country trying to kill a culture, infact my friends and family are over their risking their lives (or lost their lives) trying to preserve their freedom to express their culture.
I came from indians, my great grandmother was half cherokee, my great aunt still is close to her native culture, but we still live and fight for what america stands for.
You just seem angry and misinformed.

Well your question goes all over the map, literally, but the point here is that you state some issues that you only deal with half hearted and dont have all of the info stated, here so if you are to blame anyone for the condition of this world blame mankind, Not Jesus, he came to the world to teach us of salvation, so what is the point to this udderance, this kind of crap is exactly what causes people to go off the deep end, half stated issues from uneducated people like you

So you are saying that the white settlers, most of whom claimed to be Christian, were unChristian in taking the land that belonged to the red man?
You are correct.
Most of what passes for Christianity (both then and now) is actually commercial Christianity, which is no Christianity at all.

The riches of this world can in no way compare to the riches that God has set aside for those who follow him and accept His son Jesus as thier savior. Jesus was obedient to His Father in heaven, and did not weaken to satans tricks or tempatations. Jesus is a living example of what we can be if we obeyed God like we are supposed to and not listen to the lies of satan. When ever Jesus was approached by satan with his temptations, Jesus just answered him with scripture and satan slithered away..
You think there are riches in this world? They are absolutely nothing compared to what God has planned for us in his kingdom of heaven. Prasie God!!

Oh, yes. It's clear you're not trying to cause a controversy, saying that the US is plotting genocide.
Most of the US would love to forget that the middle east is over there. We're not fighting now because we want all Muslims dead or because we want oil. We're fighting because they attacked us first. If anybody is trying to wipe anybody out, it's them wanting to wipe us out because we have religious freedom and they don't want anything except a world full of Muslims.

Bible is a man made document - if you take it serious you go nuts and die a lunetic. Just read it for the fun of it - close it and return to the library - don't ever keep a copy at home if you going to refer it every time you fart.
