On Microsoft Word, when I make two columns on a page. Is there a way for me to jump to the next column without having to press Enter repeatedly. I've always been pressing Enter numerous times until my cursor eventually moves to the next column but there's gotta be an easier way. Does anyone know any tips on how to move to the next column in the most effiecient way? Thanks.

Before you begin typing, you select Format, Columns, then indicate how many you want. You wanted two, fine.
When you are ready to jump to the next column, click Insert, Break, Column Break.

If you want to keep the columns equal, there is a check box on the bottom, left to mark.

If you find the need to add or delete something from a column, click the show/hide button to see the column break.

With word your content in the second column is the overflow from the first column. You might find it easier to use a 2 column table if the content is independent.

Thats the only way, it thinks you want to astart in col 1 and type and type so it overflows to col 2. Try setting up a 2 column table.
