Yes very good quote, but he was talking about the change towards equality and not religion. You could use it in religious context if you would like though.

This means that if you want to do something, don't let your fears or worries stop you. Instead, keep your hopes high, and believe that you can do it. Especially if it's something that will help you become a better person.

That is a great one. I take it to mean we should sometimes have "blind faith" and go with our heart, even if we have no guarantee or physical evidence that where it will lead us is the right place. Have faith in yourself, in what you believe, and let that lead you. Otherwise, you will miss out.
