Hi! I need some advice with cutting my hair. I have decided I want bangs, but need to decide whether or not to get regular bangs or side bangs.
You see, I want a low matienence cut. I have wavy dirty blonde hair that is about shoulder length. I want to cut it shorter and get bangs but would like to know how do side bangs look without styling them to the side? How long do they take to style? Do you suggest for me to do bangs or side bangs.

By the way, I have a round face.

I'm not a professional or a hair stylist or anything. I do agree with what someone else said about asking a stylist.

But, from my own exoerience, I would get them cut regular, and if you wanted to do a hair style with a side bang you could just style them that way. Mine are regular and sometimes I do that. I blow dry them out straight (my hair is naturally curly so it's a must or they curl up to), then sweep them to the side and use a ton of hairspray :)

I'd imagine if you did a side bang cut when you didn't style them they would either always fall to the side or look odd straight down.

Here's a site that helps with choosing hairstyles. Most salons have computers in their shops so you could pick out several styles you like then discuss them with your haircutter.

Wavy hair will have more curl when cut and should be left a bit longer than you think because it will pull up with the wave/curl when cut. If you want a more straight look it should be left longer because the weight of the hair will help pull down the wave/curl to make it appear more straight.

You will want to get to know a haircutter first before allowing them to do anything too drastic to your hair. Go for a trim and talk with them to see how the two of you get along and how well they are listeing to you about what it is you want to do.

Good Luck!

Side bangs. (Like in your avatar)
I have wavy hair also. After I take a shower in the morning, I blow dry my hair including my bangs. Then I just take a small straightening iron to them and a little bit of hair spray.
Side bangs I think look good with a large or slightly large forehead.

when the cut your hair its all cut the same its how you style your bangs that matters so you need to decide how long you want them.As for the rest of your hair just remember that layers are hard to maintain .Exspecially with blonde hair.Just because you go shorter doesnt mean that its less work sometimes it can be more work..If you use a blow dryer with a styling brush and some mouse it should cut your time down ,I hope this helped.

No bangs, makes your face more round looking. As for a cut, curly or straight makes a difference. See a stylist and good luck!

I prefer side bangs......very few people, well grown ups can really sport the regular straight cut bangs. To me they look very young, but side swept bangs....very nice and it does not limit your to one bang style like straight ones do.

do the side bangs they dont take long to care for and with the norm bangs the bangs will be straighter then the rest of your hair. and flat bangs wont compliment your face as well.

side bangs, bc you can leave them to the side or comb them across also if you don't want to spend time blow drying/brushing your hair straight they can stand being a little out of place without looking messy. Straight bangs look weird when they aren't brushed neatly.

Use pantene moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to weight it down some. additionally use a depart in conditioner. Then get some frizz syrum. i exploit it to boot. it is next to the gel and stuff. I additionally use gel if i do no longer straighten my hair. placed the gel in, and allow it air dry. I in no way blow dry my hair. i visit apply a straightener although. i exploit Dep gel. My hair is incredibly thick and wavy and frizzy to boot. in case you utilize a straightner, i think of you would be greater beneficial than happy with it. I basically have been given a clean one. it relatively is a Conair with turmoline technologies and that i incredibly like it!!!
