What should i do?? Everytime i have to open his mouth to take out the shxt that he put in his mouth! Help!!!! Is it normal? He has plenty of chew toy at home and he should not be hungry because he eats 3 times a day!

He only eats puppy food, and since he's a puppy, the vet recommended feeding him 3 times a day at least till he's 6 months old. THANKS A LOT FOR ASSUMING THAT HE EATS HUMAN FOOD!

He will have diarrhea if i let him eat grass, that's so strange! I gave him some dewormer meds (from the vet), but it doesn't really help.

It is normal for him to eat grass. My dogs do the same thing, they eat everything. (it doesn't mean he has worms.) It won't hurt them, they need green stuff in their diet. Mine also eat paper and even rocks too, that won't hurt them either, but I know it's aggravating. But that's just what some dogs do. Just make sure he has all 3 of his parvo shots, because he can catch it from being outside, its very contagious and there is no cure, it will kill him.

You need to take him to the vet, he can have a virus. My puppy had a virus, not worms, that required ammoxicillin. He had the diarrhea and was eating grass. My vet also advised to know the area where you are walking the dog, even in dog parks they can pick up a virus very easy. If he is eating items that are in the public, he could pick up any bacteria or viral infection left behind.

In regards to your golden eating golden, I am not an expert but you just need to keep an eye on it and be sure you firmly tell the dog NO or pull the dog away from that crap but I for some reason these golden love to eat grass

Pets as I understand them. Dogs that is! I have two chiwawas and when they get spoiled with too many human treats, they seem to know they need something to help their digestion that comes with eating grass. Your 3 mo. old seems to know they are missing something that eating the grass helps them find. Check another puppy chow or see your vet for a blood work-up..

It's normal to eat grass if it has an upset stomach, but if you think it is getting worse or out of hand, take it to the vet.

Dogs tend to eat grass to make themselves throw up because their stomach is upset. He might be eating the grass because of the stuff that he is eating in addition to the type of dog food that you feed him. I don't really think that it has anything to do with how many times that you feed him.

Ok,It sounds to me as if he is missing something in his diet. That can be fixed simply by either changing his diet or going to the vet and getting a supplement. Now,once you go to the vet explain the situation. However,i am not sure he needs vet service over this matter. If you are concerned for his safety then sure, why not take him but if can be fixed easily vet services arent exactly the cheapest. If you are uncomfortable with changing his diet then you have no choice but to take him to the vet.I have encountered this before and this sounds like the same situation not only dogs have but other animals. As i said it can be fixed easily, and if you are worried about his health take him a vet.

I have a puppy too that eats grass. It might make them have diahrea (spelling?) but it's worth it because the grass is healthy for them. If you want him to stop, make sure you hold the leash up high enough so he can't bow his head to eat grass. (But remember, DON'T choke him!!)
