I guess people eat a lot of things that weren't intended for human consumption. Who ever said chicken eggs with to-be chicks in them were made to crack open and fried? It's funny though and you are right, it's very weird!

I wondered that for a while, but then I realized that people probably made the connection between breast milk and cow's milk. If a baby (for whatever reason) didn't have access to breast milk, some guy might have tried giving it cow's milk, after that it just caught on.

Good question.....its a mind boggling question. Its like why do we eat the meat from the cow after its dead. (well some of us that do.) WIth out milk. we wouldn't not have Ice Cream, or Milk or Yogurt. It would be interesting to think what foods we would not have with out Cow's milk!

It IS weird. I don't drink milk. But I do eat cheese....
There are SO many weird food things out there. Like, who thought up mayonnaise? Mix eggs and oil together and whip it until it forms a thick white goo? And then put it on a turkey sandwich?! Are you crazy?!?!

Because people are conditioned by all the advertising/marketing hype about milk and haven't learned that it's not only unnatural but unhealthy for our bodies.
Why is it that baby animals only drink mother's milk for a very short period for the natural nutrients so vital to a baby's immune system; then once weaned never drink it again - and humans drink it for life?
I've read that all the nutrients, minerals and good things in cow's milk are killed in the heating/pasteurization process - including calcium.

We drink homogenized, pastureized cows milk. My ex-in laws (from Germany) still drink milk straight from the farmer. She skims off the top and makes butter....Can you imagine? in this day and age! Actually it is risky drinking it that way, but they have been doing it so long that "our" milk tastes really strange to them....

lol Why do ppl eat or drink anything? Yeah, someone had to try it and figure out that it was good. I don't know who?? And yeah, it isn't meant for humans but it possesses a lot of healthful qualities that everyone can benefit from.

If you think that's weird, think about this: "Who was the first to say: See that chicken? I'm gonna eat the first thing that comes out its' butt!"
