Ok my girlfriend and my friend are like good friends and well you see me and her kinda have this thing where she calls me like this weird name i know its stupid but its like ours but this one time me her and my friend were doing a conference call and he started calling her this and she started him this and ignoring me i kinda took this out of porportion and pretended to brake up with her she got sad so i told her i was kidding then we were all better till he called her the nickname i call her and invited us to go to a movie with him what should i do was it wrong for me to get so jelous I mean I trust my gf but my friends another story

Boundaries are important in any relationship. No one should use your pet name for your lover but you. Period. And, if she has a pet name for you, only she should use it. That's what pet names are for -- to establish more intimate communications.

I'm afraid that you brought your friend into it by having a conference call. The best thing you can do is talk to your friend privately. Start by telling him that you really like this girl and you would appreciate him not hitting on her (flirting). Then you can tell him that he's being disrespectful to you and to her by doing this and that as his friend you would never dream of hitting on (flirting) with anyone that he was interested in let alone dating.

first of all you should've never pretended to brake up with her or else shes going to take that the wrong way like you dont care for her and about the movie thing just watch ur friend closely to make sure he doesnt try anything lol hes ur friend like he would and all i can say is just trust people more im sure ur friend and ur girlfriend would never purposely try and hurt u

maybe your friend thinks that your pet names for each other are silly and he calls her this to tease her. when my boyfriend found out that my best friend hates her nickname, he started calling her that all the time.
