You're absolutely correct! You are much more likely to be killed on the way to the airport than once you get there. And that includes the extremely minimal risk of being a terror victim.
Here's a statistic to munch on for a while. In the US, we would have to repeat 9/11 every 38 days to equal the carnage on our roads due to drunk drivers every year! We get all worried about terrorism but hardly give any notice at all to drunk driving unless we become a victim of a drunk driver ourselves.
In many jurisdictions, the public fights any attempt to control the drunk driving problem under the guise of "personal freedom" yet the average citizen has a 1 in 3 chance of being involved in an accident with a drunk driver in their lifetime, but a less than 1 in a 10 million chance of being a terror victim. How much sense does THAT make??

Maybe because flying is going against gravity, something thats opposite to nature.Maybe cruising through clouds gives a surreal feeling, like we are in another realm. As children we always associate the skies to heaven and going there once we die.

I saw many movies with airplane crashes...so I don't think I want to fly...
and there are more car's in this World that's why there are more accidents...and car accidents are more easy to avoid...

They have no conrol over that airplane so high up in the air. And, quite frankly, flying is unnatural for humans and therefore most people naturally have that fear.

I love to fly as long as I don't look out the window because I'm afraid of heights!

For the same reasons some people are afraid of spiders or snakes. It's a "phobia", or an irrational fear. It may seem unreasonable to you and me, but in their mind, the danger is very real, therefore, the fear is real.

Let me explain it this way: crashes into the middle of a city where thousands of people die, plane runs out of gas, bomb goes off, terrorist attack and more. Now think about your question. ;)
