That depends upon where you are flying from and to.
Flights into and out of the UK prohibit pretty much all carry on luggage or items of any kind. This includes purses, attache cases, knapsacks, laptops, cameras, cell phones, iPods, and keyfob transmitters, etc. Those items must all be in your checked baggage or be surrendered at security. Basically you're allowed your wallet and passport and that's about it.
All flights prohibit any liquids or pastes in the cabin. This includes drinks bought in the concourse area once you're past security.
Exceptions are made for prescription medications in the original bottle as long as it's in your name as well as baby formula and milk if you have a baby with you.
Check with your airline before you leave home for the current lists of permitted and banned items. It's likely to change frequently over the next few weeks.

Yes, there is a restriction on all bottled liquids; except baby formula and medicines. Read the full list of restrictions at
http://www.cnn.com/2006/TRAVEL/08/11/air.security/
Check your Airline's website... otherwise, you will be throwing away alot of stuff at the terminal.
(this applies to Carry-on, so save room in your checked luggage)

If it goes like this, pretty soon, nothing. No luggages, no clothes, nothing. You will go to the airport where you will have to change into airport gowns (like hospital gowns). Your clothes will be handed to you when you reach the other end.
