the probability of a child to have blood group A+ is 50%.
n 50% is B+.

the child is 50% likely to have A type blood and 50% likely to have B type blood.
As far as positive & negative goes it depends on recessive genes too.
example the father (or mother) could be positive, but also have a negative recessive gene (but since positive is dominant, the father is positive)....OR the father (or mother) could be positive and have TWO positive genes.
if the case is that both mom & dad have BOTH positive & negative (rh positive & rh negative genes in BOTH parents) it is 25% likely that the child will be negative rhese factor.

P.S. as opposed to one of the answers...it is NOT possible for the child to be AB...it is either A or B. because O is what the mother is (O is a recessive trait)

The mother and father are carrying the possibility for 2 blood types in their own genes, that inherited from their mothers, and that inherited from their fathers. Did either of the parent's parents have A+ blood.

I think its impossible...
An individual with blood group A can either be AA or AO.
and an individual with blood group O is certainly OO.
So the offspring can never be AB...
