chicken casserole debone a rotisserie chicken place in a glass baking pan pour on one can of gravy cook package of stuffing mix place on top and freeze then hubby can bake until golden brown and crispy..A package of premade mashed taters and your done. This is great.
Frozen lasagnas (stouffers) are great.
Make a huge pot of chili/soup freeze half
Pot Roast..
Buy frozen meatballs then all he has to do is make spagetti warm sauce and meatballs and dinner is done.
I have tried all of these and they work wonderfully. I reccommend having a menu for the month that way everyone knows what will be for supper and all the ingredients will be in the house. That way it is not so confusing..

Most any Italian foods are great at freezing ahead. Make your sauce and all he has to do is boil the water and cook the noodles. The mixed salad you can buy and Italian bread. If you have the time on weekends make a couple pans of Lasagna. Vegetable soup and Chili freeze well too. If you like chicken, fix about 3 boxes of stuffing mix together and put in a large baking pan, cut up boneless chicken breast and put on top, and 2 cans of each, cream of chicken and cream of celery soup, spread on like icing on a cake. This freezes good and takes about 40 Min's. to bake. If you have a crock pot big enough put a couple roasts in before going to work, I keep canned beef gravy on hand so just before dinner I add three or four cans to the meat. Make mashed potatoes, I love Ore-ida's frozen mashed potatoes, and a vegetable and you have dinner.
I also work thru the week and my fiancee is great at heating and adding. We have a great dinner most nights.

I make MEALS on WHEELS for my Dad. I make 1or 2 veg, 1-2 starches, and make tv dinners with thoseand add, roast chicken two different ways,
You can make stew over the rice, pork chops grilled and fried, These are a few ideas and all items can freeze and heat well in microwave or oven when store in the right container.
I am sorry I did not see 7 children. I would take the same idea and use larger tin pans, like a caterer would use. Get more ideas off a caterers menu, they usually have good reheat and serve items.

That's awesome that you want to help your husband this way. It sounds like you have a wonderful marriage with him helping with the kids and you helping to support them financially.
Bean soup always freezes nicely. But also that can be made quickly and would be just as easy to fix without freezing.
I buy diced ham and a jar of great northern beans, and add a bay leaf and onion powder and sit in the crock pot or just dump into a pan and heat quickly. To me it tastes the same as my mom's from scratch version.
UPDATE: I think that Sallie58 deserves the bonus points. I just checked her links and those all look like some great ideas! Thanks Sallie!

Casseroles work very well for this purpose. Lasgne, for example, would be easy for them to heat and they'd love it.
You can also make and freeze self-contained meals such as pot pies.
Keep a couple of frozen pizzas around for back ups.
Six kids makes a big table. Good luck to both of you!
