Ovulation isn't constant- it can occur at any time during your cycle. Also, sperm can survive in your body for around five days, so anything within five days of your fertile period (which is also around five days) can end in a pregnancy.

If you don't want to get pregnant, you have to use protection.

A woman can get pregant anywhere froms 3 days before to 3 days after ovulation. The sperm lives for approx.72hrs before it croaks. So there is a week more, or less that a woman can get pregant.
