Basically i went to college with this guy for two years and we were just friends, but recently we have shared a few kisses and touched.
He says he wants to go all the way with me, but if i don't feel the same that is ok.
However, i don't really fancy him, but he is a good friend. I always said to myself that i would wait untill i felt ready to have sex with a guy but i don't feel ready to have sex with anyone! In addition to that, every one else has done it!
Do i follow my heart and wait, stay friends with him and nothing else, and just ignore the fact that everyone has had sex and i am still a virgin, or do i go with this lad???

You do what you feel is right for you!!! It is very admirable for someone to NOT have sex because they just aren't ready. More people in this world should have these thoughts. If he is a true friend he will understand this and stick by not only your side but your decision. If this makes him dislike you in anyway then you know what he was after and you made the smart choice of ridding yourself of him. It is not easy to take the road less traveled and it is sometimes lonely but just because everyone else out there is doing it doesn't mean you have to or that it is the right choice for you. You hear everyday that people wish they would have waited or would have done things differently, don't be a statistic...live your life on your own terms. You will know when you are ready and when it feels right and it will mean more to you because you waited. Good Luck....Kudos to you!!!

To begin... if this young man is your friend, why is he even thinking of you in a sexual way? And if you tell me "NO", then if he is truly your friend, he will understand.
Let me also say this to you... stay encouraged. Dont let anyone trick you out your goodies cuz thats just what they are goodies!! They wouldnt be called that if they werent. Once you cross the line from being a virgin, there is no turning back. You can never be a virgin again. It is something that should be saved for that someone special (husband), eventhough everyone is "doing it" right now. Those that are "doing it" will one day wish, just like me, that they had waited.... take your time. Be strong.

As soon as you 'do it' the relationship will change. Stay friends. Good friends are worth their weight in gold. Being a virgin is the most precious gift you can give the 'right' man when you are ready for sex.

Everyone else probably hasn't "done it". They maybe just too embarrassed to admit it coz for some reason there is a stigma attached to being a virgin. Don't be a sheep and follow everyone else and don't ruin your friendship by confusing it. have sex with someone who you wont think back to in 20 years and say that you wished you hadn't!

No. It is a privilege to remain a virgin. Don't do something stupid because others have done it. When you are ready to settle down, being a virgin gives you an upperhand. Don't give in because of temptations or because he forces you or pressure you. He is not a man if he is doing that. A friend will never do that to you. You already have doubts about it, so why force yourself to do something you don't want to do?

first of all, id like to give you some respect for still holding truth to yourself by being a virgin, now that makes the two of us. secondly, trust your heart...thats all you gotta do, if it feels wrong then it most likely is wrong, and if it feels right then its a different story. i dont know your whole story with your friend but i know how it feels to be the only person in your group of friends who has not had sex yet...im waiting for the right person and so should you.

You should wait until you are married or at least in a committed relationship. If he is your friend, having sex with him will ruin it. Eventually one of you will expect more and then the friendship will be over. Save what you have and keep it special. If he is in love with you, then you need to let him know that you can never be more than friends.

Go w/ ur heart and wait! If u don't you'll be making a huge mistake that you'll regret 4 the rest of ur life. Just because everyone else has done it doesn't make it right.

Follow your heart, mind and soul. You KNOW he is not the one. Wait for THE ONE. There is no more precious a gift that a woman can give a man than her untouched sex. That is the most precious gift of all....that and her lifelong fidelity.
If you could pull this off, you would be the perfect woman.
