Remember, God says,"Behold, I make all things new". God is going to make a new heaven and a new earth. This will be the beginning of the Millenium. The thousand year reign of Jesus here on earth.

When the prophecy of Daniel's 70th week (or seven years of tribulation) the Lord Jesus Christ will pour His wrath on the earth and He will return to rule and reign for 1000 years on the earth. Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit. Satan will not destroy this earth because at the end of the 1000 years He will be casted into the lake of fire. Then God will destroy this earth and make a new one. Revelation 20: 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, Revelation 20: 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Revelation 20: 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 21: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Not now at the end of this age, but he'll come close.
Matt 24:21-23
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. KJV (By the way, verse 23 includes ryn.)
It's at the end of the 4th and final age when the universe is burned:
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. KJV

This earth and heaven will exist for at least another thousand years and then be no more. All quotes are from [1].
Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."
Revelation 10:5 "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven"
Revelation 10:6 "And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, that there should be time no longer."
Revelation 20:1 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bootomless pit and a great chain in his hand."
Revelation 20:2 "And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"
Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,"
Revelation 20:8 "And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."
Revelation 20:9 "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compasssed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."
Revelation 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
Revelation 20:11 "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them."

All was perfect in Eden.
Eternal life was lost and no one lived 1000 years. In the flood the life sustaining earth was lost, but there was no eternal life to sustain, only the temporary life we have as a soul born to Adam. Life is now short and full of trouble to death.
1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Rev.20:1-6,12,13; Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement. Rev.3:12; Rev.21:1-5; 2Pet.3:13; Isa,65:17; 66:1,22;
There will be a new heavens and a new earth.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; Thousand are for the new heavens that come down out of heaven over billions for the new earth until all are cleansed and perfect for the kingdom of God. As perfect as it was before Eden, there is no more Satan.

Personally I don't believe that God will allow Satan to destroy the earth. The Bible makes it clear that there will be a messianic rule set here upon the earth. The disciples in Acts, chapter one made it very clear that they knew Jesus to be the ruler, and asked the resurrected Jesus ''Is NOW the time you will set up your kingdom and restore Israel?" His answer was that only the Father knew. It goes on to say in a few versus :"the same Jesus, who has been taken from you into Heaven will come back..."
So the disciples understood that the messianic promise, that the messiah would reign on earth with his followers, had never changed and they were looking forward to that time, even after the crucifixtion. No where in the Bible was there an addendum that said God changed his mind about his promise.

NO THE EARTH WILL NOT BE DESTROYED, THAT IS WHY GOD SAYS THOSE DAYS WILL BE SHORTENED, BECAUSE HE WILL INTERVENE JUST BEFORE MEN WILL DESTROY ALL LIFE ON THIS PLANET.
Mt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Hmm. i'm not sure. it ought to be the medias idolization on 'angels' and each physique wanting their suitable wings and cloud flooring. whilst rather, it rather is not what's going to take place. in basic terms a elect few get to heaven. Or it ought to be the possibility on not having to attend 1000 years for judgment day. You die and you open your eyes in heaven. *poof* No waiting. No probability of not being established into the hot international. or perhaps all and sundry fell asleep in the time of that section interior the bible. Who is time-honored with of!?

I hate to break anyone'e bubble but, anyone HONESTLY aware of recent history knows this has been ongoing long before Bush ever got into office. Even before Carter. It has been escalating since that time but, is not something newly fausted upon us. Anyone familiar with Revelations has to be aware, the devestation takes place in the area where it is ongoing at the present time..You will also find, Damascus is to be totally destroyed.
Just so you miscontents can continue with your hatred, at least attempt to be honest about the facts. Don't dismiss the history as irrrelevent..
