have been given a large sea bass......fully intact....what do i do now????

and can i feed the head to my dog???? and aslo is the fish supposed to smell ??? (it smells awfull)

TAKE OFF HEAD...SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE AND SCRAPE INNARDS AND REMOVE BONES....RINSE...NOW YOU CAN REMOVE THE TAIL SINCE YOUVE USED IT FOR A HANDLE IF ITS SMALL

Remove the scale..clean. Start filleting starting from the tail side to the head with sharp knife. Be careful not to puncture the guts.After half filleting the fish u can remove the gut and gills together..

Throw it away, If a fish is not gutted soon after it is caught it will spoil faster.
