You buy a laundry basket and fill it with all the small items that can make you crazy, like bottle openers, corn skewers, magnets for the fridge, little household items you can buy at the dollar store. Wrap them in sets according to bed, bath, kitchen, laundry room, etc. then place in basket. Put bows on the basket with a card that says something to the effect of: Not sweating the "small stuff" and wish them a happy marriage. This gift went over great the last two times I've given it. Works well for a shower too. Good luck.

Just get a nice envelope and give money (a check). Unique gifts require time, effort, and shopping, all of which you dont have 4 hours before a wedding! You waited too long. So just give money or a gift certificate to a store in a nice card.

What about a really unique garden gift for their home? This sounds a bit odd, but a guest at my wedding gave us an incredible birdhouse and honestly it was my favorite gift! Here's the link, they are so cute!

Also, if you live near a Williams-Sonoma, they offer the Bride & Groom Cooking Guide, as well as some terrific other couples gifts like a picnic backpack for two, if they are the outdoorsy type!

The best wedding gifts come from old junkie antique stores.......they speak volumes about who gave them as to what the gift is.......recipients never forget something special.

Crystal vase or bowl...you never buy them for yourself...but they always look nice. Other than that I usually get Christmas ornaments. Something for them to put on the tree and think of you.
Good luck

Go to Target. Even if they are not registered there. Get a Bowl, cake pan, and a cake mix. Wrap them all in tissue paper and put them in a bag. Vala.
