being young you have the advantage....

Starting out any fitness program is hard. Don't try to do too much too soon. As you get into it, it doesn't take long for your exercise routine to get easier...probably about a week before you notice that you aren't so out of breath anymore. Then you just add more reps until you're breathless again....and this becomes easier, etc. You shouldn't be doing any weight training at 12 because your skeletal structure is not mature, and getting the muscles that highly defined will pull your bones into weird shapes. Running is good, and cycling, and swimming.

You could run or swim or ride your bike. Kids should be active for at least an hour a day. You could join a sports team and make friends in the process. If you run an hour a day, you could be fit pretty soon. Just keep in mind that once you are fit, you won't always stay that way, so set a routine for exercising at least 3 times a week.
