how do I delete a text from microsoft wordpad?

I have followed instructions in help and it doesn't work for me.

High light the text and push the Del key. If that doesn't work, use the Bk Sp or Del key to delete one letter at a time.

I followed the WordPad instructions in help, and it worked.

1. "Select the text" Means to use the mouse and highlight the text you want to delete.

2. "Click on Edit" Edit is on the toolbar.

3. "Click on Clear" That will remove the text.


Of course, using the backspace, or delete key will delete the text.

If the program is not working, reboot the computer, and then try again.
