get ur speakers face them right into ur wall and blast heavy metal music i bet they wont want to listen to that. there whole house will shake. done it myself wiv my neighbours they havent been noisey from it

Not necessarily in the way you are implying. However, if your neighbour is being less than reasonable, you should lodge a formal complaint to the local Council Environmental Health Officer - they have the power, if it is that bad, to confiscate the equipment which your neighbour is using which is disturbing your quiet enjoyment of your property.

I have noisy neighbours. i found if i drink lots of beer i can then sleep no matter what the noise and turn the TV up helps to.

There is no way. If you have already talked to them and they don't listen then you are destined to spend the rest of your residency there been disturbed. Fighting just makes things worse and upsets you. Been there.
In the old days you could have just shot them. Maybe you could get away with duct taping them to a chair and stuffing a sock in their mouths.
