Because God forbid you ask people to think about what they say or do. If you throw in a bit of doubt then they get crazy.. How can that be??? Oh my there is another way of doing things???? That means I am going to go to hell. Religion is what they are programmed to be, do and say.
I say question everything. That is the true key to life.

Religion is real to some people and it is what they live for. Actually, its more than a "religion" to some people. For me, it is the fact that I have found a God that is alive and loves me for who l am. It is not a laugh.

Religion should be a voluntary guideline, not a doctrine. Unfortunately not many people see it like this.
Asking questions or commenting on religion is not easy here. I commented on two questions lately. Just straight forward and not insulting anybody.
Still: Got a cheeky reminder from yahoo - telling me they gonna cancel my account as somebody reported my comments as "hatred and a call for violence"! - So there you go.
Soon enough, we will only be able to exchange cooking recipes here....

Some stuff I treat lightly but issues are important and sometimes some seriousness is appropriate. Your other question for example was pretty un-American and worthy of the slap I gave you punk.

P.S. It seems a lot of people define laughter differently than I do. I do not speak of it in terms of belittlement, but rather joy. There is also such a thing as "serious fun."
