Using the same shampoo won't damage your hair, but it is likely to cause build-up that will make your hair look dull, and it can cause blocked follicles (over time.)

Dyeing your hair frequently WILL damage your hair. I strips moisture from the cuticle and will cause a lot of damage.

the hair color companies have made the hair dyes more gentler over the last 10 years or so..but even still you need to condition regularly if you do color regularly. you will not damage your hair that much but when you start getting into bleaching or stripping the color ..then you will damage,,,and that should be left to the pros,,you can also buy protein treatments that are fantastic,,,,,and don't forget the mayo treatment,,once a month ,,all over the hair,,leave for 30 minutes and wash out,,excellent!!!

Changing your shampoos from time to time is a good idea. Coloring your hair is fine as long as you use products for chemically treated hair to replace lost moisture from the chemical process. Condition regularly, deep condition once a week and using a protein treatment occasionally is a great idea. There's a good one by Redken will keep hair strong.

Yes. And the best way to prevent damage to your hair is to leave it the way it was to begin with by not putting chemicals or too many products in your hair. Natural is always more beautiful looking.

Yes, It does. Make sure to use a great conditioner.

My hair has been so many colors! Changing hair color all the time tends to fry the hair. Conditioner is the key.

A good hairdresser is needed. If you use the right products for coloured hair and take care of it...no damage at all! I colour my hair for 5 years...I've changed many colours since then and my hair looks just beautiful!

If you are dying your hair more than every six weeks or so, it will cause damage....you are putting chemicals in your hair...thats not natural. It also depends on the color...if you are lightening your hair, its a lot worse than just depositing color onto in.

yes, when you color your hair-between coloring you should wait atleast 2 weeks. Also coloring your hair to much might nt show now but later in life it will. It can also dry out your hair.

depends wat type of dye u use. anything with peroxide (regular stuff u buy at stores) will dmage your hair overtime and eventually fry it(literally). european beauty supplies generally carry dyes without peroxide and actually condition your hair and are made of natural ingredients. takes longer but you end up with truly beautiful hair. also any designer salon only uses these special dyes and for a few extra bucks they can apply itr professionally.
